All the style of Hero
Feb. 28th, 2005 10:34 pmSo, it seems to me that there must be something in the world that's a cross between a mouse and a ballpoint pen. A pointing device that you can hold in your hand and direct as if you were writing. Every time I have to do art on a computer I become deeply aware of the necessity of something that isn't as clumsy or as random as a mouse.
I have the faint impression that this is instead done with sensitive writing surfaces, which are perhaps referred to as "tablets". Hard to tell, since I seem to have entered a realm where everything has the same name as everything else. All I want to know is, do these "tablets" come in wireless?
Actually, what I really want to know is why there aren't stave-mice. Who wouldn't want to surf the internet while standing solemnly in a dojo making fine manipulations with a long stick? Whose heart does not thrill at the thought of beating the crap out of intruding ninjas with one's mouse? "brb - ninjas"
