So, guys, I need a new hosting company. I've been with webstrikesolutions.com for upwards of four years, but since April or so they've just been shit for email reliability. I can deal with brusque tech support and baroque nested control panels and flaky webmail access, but now it's been one of my friends who can't email me at all, one of my friends who bounced all my mails as buggy, and one site that never gets my emails with no bounce to me. Fuck that.

Who do you recommend for webhosting? I'd like to keep it under $80 a year. I demand infinite email addresses, and good web access to them. I like hosts with support forums, so if something goes wrong globally I can see other people getting answers about it. I'm not going to go for one of the sites that often get hosed by DDoS attacks for hosting popular blogs. Other than that, just the usual; >99% uptime, a couple gigs of transfer.

I use hostrocket (http://www.hostrocket.com/), and they've been really good to me.

Several of my friends toddlyles and melissagay both use them as well.

I have two hosts, and I'm reasonably happy with both of them. ICDSoft.com is something like $6/month for 750MB disk, 15GB transfer, unlimited email accounts. Lypha.com is something like $7 a month for 50GB storage and 1TB transfer, and unlimited email accounts. But if either one has a webforum for support, I'm unaware of it. The webmail interface for icdsoft seems decent, though I hardly ever use it. Lypha offers a choice of several different webmail interfaces, but again I mostly just go in to clean out spam once in a while.
