Unfortunately, when I got home I found the rum was gone

I just brought home a chair on my head, on my bicycle! There was me, riding home from work. There was a decent chair amongst a small drift of furniture, begging for a new owner. There was a little more than a mile between point A and point B...

Oo, I'm so cool. Did I mention I also had groceries in the bike basket? I trust I entertained many people as I pedaled down 27th, back straight, steering with one hand, holding the chair on with the other hand... I definitely entertained a carful of women who pulled up to check out the bureaus as I was trying out various chair/bike configurations.

So very Oakland. I see guys on bicycles with huge garbage bags of cans all the time. Guys on bicycles with another bicycle. Now I, too, can use my bicycle as a load acclerating device!
