In which I reveal deep, meaningful things

Naw, actually, it's just a fuck-ton of quizzes. I'm emptying out at least one open message in Eudora, dammit!
(Yay! This post got so large it froze Semagic and required a Ctrl-Atl-Del shutdown. But, the next time I turned Semagic on, there it was, magically saved!
Moral of the story: I should maybe, y'know, put these things up a weee bit more often. Given that I haven't finished emptying out even one of four dumps for them...)

Your magical style is Priestess.

Heh. I'll buy it.

To which race of Middle Earth do you belong?

I'm a native Denver-suburb-ite. I like big open plains. (Where the deer and the antelope played... Until zebra-mussel housing went up over every inch.) Whatcanyado.
I find this amusing and/or appropriate.
Oh, right! My previous Amber character came with an appropriate weapon and an amusing cry.

What Reject Sith Are You?
Pricky slow death.
I think, rather, I'm a good excuse for a warm fire and hot cider. With rum.
I Am A: Lawful Neutral Dwarf Cleric Mage
Alignment:
Lawful Neutral characters believe in the triumph of law and order above all else. It does not matter whether the leader is for good or evil; the leader will be followed, because the order they provide is the most important thing.
Race:
Dwarves are short and stout, and easily recognizable by their well-cared-for beards. They are hard workers, and adept at stonework and engineering. They tend to live apart from other races; generally in deep, underground excavated systems, and as such tend to be distant from other races.
Primary Class:
Clerics are the voices of their God/desses on Earth. They perform the work of their deity, but this doesn't mean that they preach to a congregation all their lives. If their deity needs something done, they will do it, and can call upon that deity's power to accomplish their goals.
Secondary Class:
Mages harness the magical energies for their own use. Spells, spell books, and long hours in the library are their loves. While often not physically strong, their mental talents can make up for this.
Deity:
Helm is the Lawful Neutral god of guardians and protectors. His followers believe in vigilance and preparedness, and are always ready for whatever confronts them. They wear plate mail, sometimes with gold embossing, with an open eye set into the breastplate, and an open-faced helmet. Helm's symbol is an open eye in a gauntlet.

Lawful neutral my ass.... Again with the cleric, eh? The constant vigilance sounds ok.
Which reminds me, I need to go get a bottle of Macallan to bring to ACNW.

You are the rare, the overlooked, yet incredibly useful dodecahedron: the d12.
You are a creative, romantic soul. You often act without thinking, but make up
for your lack of plans with plenty of heart. You easily solve problems that stump
others, but your answers tend to put you into even deeper trouble. You write
long, detailed backgrounds for all your characters, and are most likely to dress
up as one or get involved in cos-play. You can be silly at times and are easily
distracted by your own day dreams, but are at the end of the day you're
someone who can be depended on.
d12s rock! d12s are the best of all possible dice! I say it is so.
What was this quiz asking? Anarchism? Pffff!

You are 'Gregg shorthand'. Originally designed to
enable people to write faster, it is also very
useful for writing things which one does not
want other people to read, inasmuch as almost
no one knows shorthand any more.
You know how important it is to do things
efficiently and on time. You also value your
privacy, and (unlike some people) you do not
pretend to be friends with just everyone; that
would be ridiculous. When you do make friends,
you take them seriously, and faithfully keep
what they confide in you to yourself.
Unfortunately, the work which you do (which is
very important, of course) sometimes keeps you
away from social activities, and you are often
lonely. Your problem is that Gregg shorthand
has been obsolete for a long time.

Yes! I love shorthand. I've had characters who knew shorthand. I should make more.
A different LJ haiku place from the angrygoats one? I shall have to investigate further, since I love me some LJ haiku...

![]() | You scored as Winter. You are WINTER. You're more introspective, thinking deeply, feeling deeply. You love nothing better than to enjoy one on one time with those who are important to you. You are cautious, and sometimes second guess yourself. Dreams, though you have them, are a luxury, because life is not a plaything.

Bourbon Congratulations! You're 127 proof, with specific scores in beer (80) , wine (66), and liquor (86). |
Screw all that namby-pamby chick stuff, you're going straight for the bottle and a shot glass! It'll take more than a few shots of Wild Turkey or 99 Bananas before you start seeing pink elephants. You know how to handle your alcohol, and yourself at parties. |

Date: 2005-11-14 05:29 pm (UTC)I don't remember what build of Semagic I'm using; it might not be the latest. I updated it up in late summer, I think, and it made it so every time I start it up I have to close the box at the bottom that shows my icon so I'll have enough space to write in at the top...
I use Firefox to browse, but I think Semagic uses IE to preview things, so maybe some horrid code in the quizzes killed IE.
