Great party. People were complimenting me on my tie all night. All praise to (my housemate who I'm going to have to think up a sobriquet for, since her name is even more unique than Silent E's... How about Dread Girl, for now?) , who made a special trip out into the world at the last moment to get a cable to hook her laptop to the sound system wired into the kitchen ceiling, so there was awesome dance music thumping though it all night. Someone had the obvious brilliant idea and moved the butcher block over by the dishwasher, so there was a good-sized dance floor in our house; I actually got to dance with people in my own house! Sweet! The pointy black Paul boots turned out to be very good for shuffling across the floor. Also, one of Dread Girl's friends brought over a bunch of neon lights and set them up so the place was lit all dim-ish and colorful... It was really great. I need to do something very sweet for her, because she made that party.

Though the karaoke machine was a very good thing, too. When everyone in the room was howling out "My Way"? I chuckle now... I hope the people taking karaoke photos pass them along to me.




This is Dread Girl. The new housemate showed up at the party, but I didn't see her hardly at all. The other housemate, who I will refer to as Zoned Girl, did not come out for the party. You can see her door behind Elvis, here:

I suck. I was supposed to be there and then I couldn't make it a the last minute.

So what else is new?

Officially I should commit to nothing and then when I show up, all will be amazed! Or perhaps all will have forgotten who the heck I am by whenever it is I will actually see everyone again.
