zdashamberOn my way down to the lunchroom to collect tea, it occurs to me that if Jael ever dies, I could possibly take over playing Deirdre. Deirdre, in this set of Mike's games, is the one who's been mocking Gerard for 50 years straight about the leg he lost. Deirdre quote on learning of Llewella's child: "The green-haired ice bitch actually suffered a man to touch her! I wonder if she laid in missionary position, turned her head to the side, and thought of Amber--in her case, Rebma?"
I consider how very fun playing Dee would be. Our styles aren't all that different...
Towering Coworker: Now that's a joyous smirk.
Me: Yes, it is a smirk, I'm afraid...
TCw: What occasions the joy? Or the smirk?
Me: Well... You know I'm a geek, right? I'm thinking of a roleplaying game...
TCw: I used to play a lot of D&D.
Me: Oh, cool! Well, I was thinking that if my character ever dies, I could play someone totally bitchy.
TCw: Ah, revenge...
It's not quite the joyous smirk of future revenge, though. It's more like the joyous smirk of having options. Glorious, shining options.
