I'd forgotten how much I enjoy pool. Such a clean game. And you get to lean on the cues like they were wreathed in flowers...

There was also discussion of the bigass Halloween party we will throw in this Addams Family house. Saturday, October 29th. Dead rock star theme. You're all invited!

They say I look most like Robert Plant or some guy from Whitesnake. I'm thinking I might do Paul McCartney since I know more of his songs, and I sing in his register.

*Looking at pictures of Plant and Whitesnake* Apparently my hair-taming Frizz-Ease isn't working quite as well as I might hope. Heh.

Was it that Orlando, then? One of these years I simply must get in on a game where a close analogue of him is getting play time. Until then, my gears will forever grind against my first and favorite Amber character, son of Benedict and Deirdre's lover.

I'm not feeling the Robert Plant love. But on the bright side, I can't see you as Iggy Pop either. (Besides, he's alive.)

Eek. Punctuation failure. Son of Benedict, and Deirdre's lover. That was my Orlando. For a long time he wanted to be Just Like Dad, but then he started hanging around with Bleys and, well...sleeping with Deirdre. Sort of warped the Benedictine image, if you know what I mean.

Aw, I was having fun imagining the fallout. Deirdre: "WHAT?!! You're pregnant, by BENEDICT?!"

Anyway. Hanging out with Bleys. Reminds me of a quote. Like so many things do. We were remembering who our characters were before a session, and talking about Anneke's character, who had no Charisma whatsoever, and who threatened or attacked anything that mocked her. We'd decided her character was definitely a dick. Over to John, who'd had the GM make him up a character since he'd missed the previous session....

GM: "Basically, he told me to base his character on 'Bleys'."
Anneke: "So he's like the exact opposite of my character..."
Bernie: "Yeah, instead of a dick, he's an ass."

Yeah, I've been hitting the Frizz-Ease for many months now... But there are so many types of it. I'm trying the "4" "comb through damp hair after shower" type. It does help a bit, I think.

If the category can be expanded to not-dead classics, and frizzy golden hair is the key, you could always do Tommy-era Roger Daltrey, too.

If the Frizz-Ease works (or lots of deep conditioner and a flatiron), what about Nico, as in The Velvet Underground and?

I think Plant's still alive... The housemates were suggesting costumes based on both living and dead musicians. I think the decorating theme is dead ones, though. Macabre.
