So now I know that most of you are either through Firefly, or nearly through... Now I can reveal something I've been sitting on for months.

Television Without Pity: the Firefly recaps.

It is frikkin' hilarious. A very clever gay guy (I love you, Shack!) with a crush on Adam Baldwin goes through each episode of Firefly bringing the snark in bounteous detail. I read these as the shows aired, waiting each week in eager anticipation until the recap went up... The overall arc, as Shack is won over to loving the show he's paid to snark about, is sweet. And did I mention, high-larious.

Badger says, "Of course, you can't buy an invite with a diamond the size of a testicle. I got my hands on a couple." Mal giggles. Jayne giggles. I giggle. You giggled, too. Don't deny it.

It's like salt for meat. Go! Relive the glory!

He tells Inara that he always thought Serenity was a vaguely funereal-sounding name. Yeah, funeral homes and graveyards are big on using synonyms for peacefulness in their names, like they want assure customers that the people buried there are actually going to stay dead and not start lurching around, looking for brains to eat.
