zdashamberSo, tonight at Dark Carnival (the bookstore!) a metal band from Seattle named BlöödHag is going to be playing. They're an interesting group... Their motto is "The Sooner you go Deaf, the more time you have to Read." All of their songs are biographies of science fiction authors (not that you can tell with the loudness and metal-mangling of the words), and they throw old SF paperbacks into the crowd as they sing.
It's an entertaining experience. Are you free to go? Starts at 7. We could maybe do dinner after if you couldn't make it before...
And I gotta admit, I'll be fascinated to see how they manage to fit a metal band, and an audience, into Dark Carnival. I bet this is an opportunity that won't come twice. Come! Join me! Let us plug our ears in joyous togetherness!
