The Eastern Screech Owl nesting cam is back!

I love it. Whenever I'm bored, I can go stare at a lady owl 2,000 miles away as she broods her four eggs. Sometimes she moves, sometimes her mate appears to bring her food. They're both very handsome birds. Every day the fellow who built the box and runs the camera posts a report with pictures of the previous day's moments of interest: go look at the picture from yesterday of the lady owl "considering the situation"—bracing herself as she looks out the hole at the worst hailstorm in generations. Very dramatic picture.

Also, from last year, I remember how interesting it is when the little owls hatch, and particularly when they fledge and start moving around in the box. It's neat! I so deem it.
