zdashamberWow. I just popped over to the Penny Arcade site, since I wasn't able to read Monday's comic on Monday, and I was really in the mood for some surrealist swearing good-art humor... I'd hit Neil Gaiman's blog to get over the sadness I felt about GoO, and bounced directly to Jack Chalker's site and then his wife's LJ, where she's chronicling his unconscious hospital ICU stay, from there to another site about the death of a lady due to health insurance Enronishness; came back to read Neil's elegy to Will Eisner... Anyway, really in the PA mood. And the comic can be found off the "comic strip" text link in the news post, so that's alright.
Further posts had been added since last I was by; I read in warm recognition Gabe's bit, and thought of how cool it would be if I somehow had some call to impose on him for character portraits. And thence down to Tycho's latest, where a pass of the mouse over the link shows that the Wednesday comic is available.
Twist in the foundations of the world. I am not aware of when PA respawns, but I've never seen the Wednesday comic except on or after Wednesday... I could look at it now... But that's just not how things work...
I resisted. It will give me something bright to carry me through work tomorrow.
Man, what a dose of sad tonight. Maybe it's the breath of scotch I had, letting it in.
