Hm. My notes say today is right around the time of the Perseid meteor showers, which means that it's right around the time the tiny Fierce was due to be born. In her honor, thus, I offer up the best mnemonic I ever thought up (and, in fact, the only mnemonic I have in my head):

Kingdom Phylum Class Order Family Genus Species
=
King Phillip came over for great sex.

So memorable... So non-school-safe.

Squint? Um... I was talking about her daughter Mnemosyne, who was actually born rather a lot early in a time of great drama, and who is now, so far as I know, doing fine.

But the Wee Fierceness is indeed a little squirt. (She's sleeping behind me right now - like the proverbial baby. Which isn't to say that the saying has any accuracy - real babies sleep in fits and starts and occasional strange noises that give rise to stories of anal probes. Or something like that.)
