Bah! I've been meaning to write up a "what other game* should I run at ACNW" post for more than a month, now. So get your answers in soon!

The options (names not yet created to protect the innocent):
Hand Puppet Amber. In which your player's main body plays the amnesiac core of who you are, and your player and others control various hand puppets who are disintegrated bits of your personality (or maybe other people's personalities, or maybe they're independent entities). A game about figuring out who you will be, and then applying it to some fucked-up political situation.

Jedi Kids Amber. In which you are among a group of learners in the Jedi Temple who escape into another dimension as Anakin starts his massacre, and who come to find out that all roads lead to Amber, and yours was headed that way long before. Are you going to take that? A game about figuring out who you will be, and then applying it to some fucked-up political situation.

"Though the Door with a Gun" again, for those who missed it the first time.

A different game set in Noir Deiga.

"Volatile" again, for those who missed it the first time. (No direct link alas, search page for Vol)

A different game set in uppity steampunk Rebma.

(*"Other game"? Why, yes! Mike S, John 9, and I are going to be taking another stab at "Guns of Abalaa", so keep your slot 1 free!)

What, no Sparklypoo again? Just kidding.

I was sad to miss "Through the Door with a Gun" the first time around. I can't recall if I was running that slot, or if I just didn't make it in.

Given that "Through the Door" was what inspired me to *attend* AmberCon, my vote is there, despite having no idea what a Deiga is. I don't know what a Rebma is either, but I like steampunk because I'm trendy like everybody else.

I'd love a different game set in Noir Deiga. That was such a beautiful world that I'd love to come back to it. (Though I will offer my standard "I'm careful about signing up for ongoing games" disclaimer.)

I'm also a big proponent in not repeating one-shots if you can avoid it. I know it's common theme with ACNW, and I've done it in the past for games that had some degree of popularity, but overall I lean towards preferring games set in the same universe that don't require knowledge of previous games.

I'd vote for Noir Deiga or steampunk Rebma. Because I'm all for phallic symbolism with my Mad Scientists.

"Through the Door with a Gun" would be my first choice because I missed it, and love that genre.

After that, whatever you like, and I'm excited to see if I can get into it.

Noir Deiga or steampunk Rebma sounds good to me, too. I also missed "Through the Door with a Gun" and wouldn't mind a chance to play in it.

I loved Volatile at ACUS, and while I won't be at NW, I think lots of others could break the GM just as well as we did.

Well, in consideration of your inestimable hubby, I will probably do a game set in the same Deiga that doesn't involve Caine getting shot through the heart. But I bet it will be almost as cool. :) If you tell me what slots you're GMing, I can try to aim it for other slots...

When are you intending to GM? You were cool in the previous one, and it'd be nice to have the option of having you in the next one.

I wasn't all that broken! But then, I just ran into Barbara B at Cliff W's wedding, and she was reminiscing about the various types of foam, and I realized that I'd suppressed a lot, so.

4, 5 and 6. You ran it slot 2 last year.

Yep. That was back when I wanted to get all my GMing out of the way early so I wouldn't have to be all panicky during the con. But now I'm secure in my awesomeness and a whole vista of possibilities are open to me! ...Not that I won't have the whisky out. Ehem.

Looks like Noir Deiga gets the vote. If I were to aim it in a way that it might be possible you could make it, what slots would that preclude?

Also, I just realized this morning that I haven't seen you since you got braces. We should fix that sometime. I mean, I'm flying to Portland to see cool people this weekend, when there are cool people right here...

What slots are you aiming to GM? I might be able to aim for other slots and thus make it more of a possibility.

I have left my slot selection up to the scheduling gods, so there isn't much I can say, but thank you for thinking of it!
