Thinking of names, I looked up the Book of Job today, to see what the Biblical Job's daughter's names were. I used Bible Gateway, which showed me a chapter at a time. I started at the beginning.

...42 chapters later, in the last 4 sentences of the entire damn thing, it finally named them... (Jemimah, Keziah, and Keren-Happuch.)

It's ok; I was meaning to read the thing and think about it.

The Book of Job is a flame war. Two sides, repeating themselves again and again as if they're saying something new. Personal insults. Melodramatic umbrage taken. Finally it dies down... And a new punk comes in and restarts it, with nearly the same arguments! I swear, there were times I could practically see the carats building up.

Ah. Refreshing. I don't mind watching a good flame war now and again, and this one was about something key. Good to know that before the internet we had the Bible.
