zdashamber: painting - a frog wearing a bandanna (Default)
Shoutout to my peeps in Fremont and Oakland (especially Fruitvale, you guys rock) for making the drive up 880 this evening sparkly. You joyfully represented the original stick-it-to-the-man spirit of the Declaration of Independence. Fremont takes first place for that section of highway down in the channel between high walls, where for miles on end it was misty with brimstone. Oakland, hell, man, I've never even seen those fireworks like somebody threw a canful of lit-metal paint across the sky. And you at the base of the hills with the rockets that corkscrewed up in gold fuzz and then exploded in huge bursts of green and red? Like, more than a dozen of those rockets? Lit with flagrant abandon? My hat's off to you, bud.

Sweet!
