So, I cleaned off one side of my desk last week...

The huge stack to the left. It was really helpful that a month ago I cleaned up the huge stack of nonprofit solcitations on the floor, because the deepest desk strata was mainly nonprofit solicitations, and it's the consideration of what to do with a thing that takes up the most time in cleaning it away. Anyway, it's damn nice to not have a sliding sinister pile [heh].

But what's particularly nice is that it pokes my archaeology buttons. Oho! I think. So that character sheet was laid down between September and October of 2003!

And then there's the insights into the past...

Have gone to see Tempest (band) at Starry Plough (pub) with aiyume (guy who the Verizon bills come to)

Two years ago, when I was still in the habit of leaving my housemate notes... These days, it's like, "Oh, right, the wedding! I saw all the band-aids scattered around, and I kindof wondered where you'd gone..."
