Breakthrough! Thrills!

zdashamberThe past month or so, I've been noticing a strange feeling every so often, as if my scalp is moving around in response to thoughts and situations. A couple weeks back, I happened to be looking in a mirror when this occurred, and my suspicions were confirmed—I was perking up my ears! My ears were moving and (so far as humanly possible) swivelling! (And we're talking milimeter-range ear waggles, so no one's confused.)
This is, without question, the most interesting development since I was seven and figured out how to whistle. As soon as I can figure out how to harness these ear-moving muscles and wiggle my ears on command... Hah! Far better than snapping my fingers or flaring my nostrils or making Star Trek signs with my hands! And now I know that it's possible. MUA-HAHAhahah!
(I'd think that I'd reached the peak of "odd nifty things to do with the human body", except one of my Chinese-American coworkers can do a thing with his eyebrow where it waggles like a springy doorstopper that's been tensed and let fly. Now that's fascinating. Hopefully I can record a .avi of it with my camera someday.)
