Nah, I missed the original cartoon. I played in one of cochese's whacky Amber crossover con games with a guy who was playing Optimus Prime, though, and I am inclined to like him. I mean, a semi who is a robot, that's hard to beat. And I thought he was a pretty fine character in the movie.

They did make fun of the president, but they also made the SecDef into a noble and intelligent character... No obvious bias, I guess.

It was a boring flick, but I'm not really grieved that I saw it.
