My response would be to wonder what the ratio of women gamers to men is in general. If it's only 20%, then the poster ratio may actually be a good number. :)
This might be an odd question, but surely someone out there knows that statistic? Granted, it might vary genre to genre ... for instance, and this is just personal experience, I believe that as a percentage, there are more women playing Vampire and Amber than D&D.
But if one were to look at say, GenCon's or Dragoncon's membership list (and I'll freely admit both cons to do more than just gaming), is there a break-down by gender as to who attends?
